S'mores and Stories

This photo was shot on assignment for Shawnee Peak Ski Resort. I was hired by the ski resort to photograph this cabin and the surrounding area that was available for rent. We chose to make dinner over the fire just below the cabin in an effort to capture some images showing the models interacting with their environment. I framed this shot to include both the cabin and the fire to feature the fire pit amenity just outside.

Settling by the Sea

This image was included in The Maine Magazine in February, 2017. This was my first major magazine feature, and introduction to content creation for print. The photo was displayed on the page next to a writeup, that I constructed, that gave context of the day. After a long and strenuous day exploring the remote Jewell Island, we set up camp on this little beach on the southern tip of the island. I had just finished unpacking my gear inside the tent when I looked up and saw this shot in front of me, clear as day. I wanted the tent to serve as a window into the world beyond, with my legs guiding you through the threshold.

Out Of Sight

A foggy afternoon spent by the river is always a good one, no matter how many times you almost fall in!
